Ruixing Active Chinese Centre has taught the MOE syllabus for A-Level Chinese in Singapore since 2012, at our Bugis centre (116 Middle Road, #05-04 ICB Enterprise House, 5 minutes from Bugis MRT). All our teachers are university graduates with at least 6 years of local teaching experience, and teach bilingually so students can ask questions in English when needed.
In-person group classes are capped at 6 students so teachers can give real attention to oral practice and essay writing. 1-to-1 lessons are also available, in-person or online, and online group classes (via Zoom) are capped at 20 students.
The jump from Secondary to A-Level Chinese is real: comprehension passages get longer, essay topics expect more nuanced arguments, and oral exams move faster. Our JC classes focus on close reading of past-paper-style texts and structured essay practice, so students build the stamina the exam actually tests.
