Chinese Tuition Fees in Singapore

Group Chinese tuition at Ruixing Active Chinese Centre starts from S$248 a month for preschool classes and goes up to S$808 a month for JC (A-Level) 1-to-1 tuition. Every monthly package covers 4 lessons and includes course materials, except for adult 1-to-1 classes. Below is our full 2026 price list, plus the one-time fees and trial pricing you'll need to budget for before your child's first class.

Online vs In-Person Pricing

The fees above are for in-person classes at our Bugis centre, where group classes are capped at 6 students. We also offer online group classes (up to 20 students) and online 1-to-1 tuition at every level. Online group class pricing is currently confirmed on a case-by-case basis — please contact us via WhatsApp (+65 9297 2008) or phone (+65 6256 6227) for an exact quote.

Frequently Asked Questions About Our Fees

Are course materials included in the monthly fee?
Yes, for every children's group and 1-to-1 package. Adult 1-to-1 classes (Basic and Business Chinese) do not include materials.

Is the S$100 deposit refundable?
Yes — it's fully refunded once you stop lessons, as long as you give one month's notice. The S$20 registration fee is a one-time cost and is not refundable.

Do online classes cost the same as in-person classes?
Online group class pricing depends on class size and may differ from our in-person rates — contact us to confirm current online pricing for your child's level.

How much does a trial lesson cost?
A group trial class is free. A 1-to-1 trial class costs S$30 for a 2-hour session.

Do fees change as my child moves up a level?
Yes — fees are set by level band (for example, Primary 1–2, Primary 3–4, Primary 5–6), so the monthly fee may increase as your child progresses. See the table above for the fee at each band.
