Ruixing Active Chinese Centre has taught the MOE syllabus for Primary Chinese (P1 to P6) in Singapore since 2012, at our Bugis centre (116 Middle Road, #05-04 ICB Enterprise House, 5 minutes from Bugis MRT). All our teachers are university graduates with at least 6 years of local teaching experience, and teach bilingually so your child can ask questions in English when needed.
We run in-person group classes for every primary level, capped at 6 students so teachers can give each child real attention. 1-to-1 lessons are available at every level too, in-person or online, and online group classes (via Zoom) are capped at 20 students.
Some of our Primary Chinese students are also taking Higher Chinese. From P1 to P4 they stay in the same class as regular Chinese students, with extra Higher Chinese material provided during lessons; from P5 they move into a dedicated Higher Chinese class. See our Higher Chinese page for the full breakdown, including how we handle the P5–P6 transition.
For P5 and P6 students, our lessons build toward the PSLE Chinese paper — vocabulary, comprehension, composition and oral. Our PSLE oral preparation typically starts in June with a full vocabulary review from P4 to P6 level, followed by focused topic practice and exam-condition mock tests in the June holidays and July. Exact exam dates change each year, so please check the official SEAB examination timetable.
