  • Reading and listening comprehension of Chinese texts and audio material used in IB Chinese courses
  • Productive writing across different text types (emails, blogs, speeches, and more), following IB formatting requirements
  • Oral communication: describing a visual stimulus or literary extract and discussing it with your teacher
  • Vocabulary and grammar organised around IB prescribed course themes

Small class sizes taught by teachers with 6+ years of local teaching experience, who can explain concepts in English when needed. Lessons are structured around IB Chinese course themes and assessment requirements, rather than generic textbook content.

Year 11-12 international school students taking IB Chinese (Language B or ab initio track), at an intermediate level of Mandarin or above.

Small group classes (2-6 people) for Years 11-12, both online and offline, 4 lessons/month, 2 hr/lesson. One-on-one tuition and classes for Years 1-10 international school students are also available — please contact us for arrangement and fees.

Course structure and practice follow the official IB Chinese Language B assessment framework, which combines external written papers (Paper 1: productive writing; Paper 2: listening and reading comprehension) with an internal oral assessment. Requirements differ between Standard Level (SL) and Higher Level (HL). Please refer to the IB's official Chinese Language B subject guide for exact requirements, as these are set by the IB and may be updated periodically.
